Live Music in Paisley This Week

The Bungalow: A Week Packed with Live Music

The weekend gets underway tonight with a special birthday celebration for Alison, the mum of well-known local musician Jay Fitzpatrick. Everyone is welcome to join the celebrations, with a fantastic three-band line-up taking to the stage from 7pm.

Rock fans are also in for a treat as The Dead Flowers return to The Bungalow for another powerhouse performance featuring classic rock favourites and crowd-pleasing anthems. This free-entry gig begins with doors opening at 1pm, but it's always a busy afternoon, so arriving early is recommended.

Saturday evening sees the return of Itchycoo Park for a rare Saturday Night Session. With no football to distract you before the World Cup Final, there's every reason to enjoy an evening celebrating the greatest music of the 1960s. Expect songs from The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Who, alongside timeless classics inspired by the decade. Doors open at 7pm, with the band performing from 8:30pm until 10:30pm. As always, admission is free, although reserving a table via The Bungalow's Messenger is recommended.

Sunday afternoon continues the music with Mod Life Crisis, bringing an afternoon packed with classic Mod favourites. Doors open at 1pm for another free-entry event.

The music continues throughout the week with:

  • Tuesday (7pm): The ever-popular Bungalow Jam, featuring live music, games, quiz and open mic.

  • Wednesday (2pm): The Bungalow Wednesday Club with entertainment from John Griffith of The Bobby Deans Big Band, plus the weekly quiz.

  • Thursday (7pm): The Longshots perform classic Ska and Rocksteady, showcasing their exciting new vocalist in a free-entry evening of live music.

The Old Swan Continues Another Busy Week

There's plenty happening at The Old Swan throughout the week.

Tonight, Ronnie T gets things started from 4pm, followed by Crawford Carlyle performing live from 8pm.

Saturday welcomes Funky Mama to the stage from 4pm, while Sunday afternoon brings the ever-popular Sunday Soul Club, kicking off at 4pm.
