Whats On 25 April 2025

Ska Face from Blackpool are at The Bungalow tonight and with them they will have their famous wall of brass, playing classic SKA and 2 Tone from The Specials Madness and more plus Special Guests Lemon Soul. You can get tickets on the door from 7pm.

Ska Face from Blackpool are at The Bungalow tonight and with them they will have their famous wall of brass, playing classic SKA and 2 Tone from The Specials Madness and more plus Special Guests Lemon Soul. You can get tickets on the door from 7pm. 

The Bobby Deans Big Band fronted by singer John Griffin are back tomorrow afternoon for more Jazz, Swing, Big Band and modern hits too. It is free entry and doors are at 1pm. 

Hells Bells return to The Bungalow. This gig is always a sell out so grab your tickets early to avoid disappointment. Doors are at 7pm. 

On Sunday afternoon get your fill of ‘Rock Classics’ from the brilliant Drty Luv and its Free Entry from 1pm. 

Sunday looks like a hilarious evening of stand-up comedians battling it out at The Gong Show. Who will beat the Gong? You can get tickets on the door from 7pm. 

Tuesday is the monthly Paint and a Pint. This is an Open Mic with art supplies for you to use and an hour jam at the end. This is for lovers of art and music- all kinds of creatives. Starts at 7pm and is always the last Tuesday of the month!

Blackbird presents a fundraising night in aid of Sarcoma UK featuring 4 live acts and they are Clones, Flu, Mankover and Osmar. You can get tickets on the door from 7pm. 

The Bungalow Introducing Night this week has three of the freshest most exciting performers around.  And they are Kuill, Elijah Lyons and Jack Hill. Tickets are £5/£3 and you can get them on the door from 7pm. 

The Keg have St Mungo in tonight and the night also includes a Food and Drink after party tomorrow night at the same time it will be another Food and Drink after party. Looks like the bands from The Keg Tent at The Food and Drink Festival is piling back to The Keg after their gigs. The Keg Sessions start at 9pm on Thursday for more original acts and bands. 

The Swan have Abbey Road in tonight from 8pm and tomorrow there will be live action from 4pm in the shape of Epic followed by Graeme Kerr. The Sunday Soul Club starts at 4pm with John and Maria on the decks. Crawford Carlyle will be playing on Monday from 4pm, Lee James starts his comedy and song stage show on Tuesday at 3pm, Duncan McLellan kicks off at 4pm on Wednesday and Cammy Miller will be rocking it out at 3pm on Thursday.

The Cave has a ‘Big Fat Quiz’ on tonight from 8pm. Tomorrow’s ‘Doubler’ is Sad Ida at 5pm followed by 3.15 at 8pm. The Cave’s busy weekend finishes with live action from Filthy White Suits at 6pm on Sunday. 

There will be the usual live action at Kennedys on Sunday from 3pm and over at The Inn on the Corner from 4.30pm three will be more rock, blues and boogie live. 

The Open Mic/Stage sessions next week are: The Abbey at 9pm on Monday, Ugly Duck Monday at 7pm, The Gantry at 9pm on Tuesday, The Bungalow on Tuesday 7pm, The Keg on Wednesday at 8.30pm and The Cave from 7pm on Thursday. The Inn on the Corner has an Open Mic on the last Tuesday of the month.

Finally, it is Food and Drink Festival weekend, check out all the live music.

The Bungalow Stage, Friday – The Republic of Soul, The Divas Soul. Saturday Frank’s House, The Players, Lemon Soul, Smokin at Tiffany’s, Shout!

Abbey Gardens Stage Friday – The Best Bad Influence, Kai Reesu. Saturday – Katy Boyle Showcase, The Background Sounds, Jericho Hill, The Deldorados.

The Keg Stage. Friday – St Mungo, Careo,  Zocolla, Bicycle Trip, Citadels. Saturday – Howlin Radio, The Loners, Canyon, Penny Skint, Black Dog Forge, Ocean Views, Skyline.
