West Fest – Paisley is the brainchild of Rocknrolla’s Boab Williamson. Frustrated with the exclusion of the West End of Paisley when large events came around he decided that a birth of a music festival should occur.
Spanning 3 days and with 20 bands playing West Fest- Paisley will lift the West End and all of the businesses surrounding it. The decision to keep the festival as local covers bands opening each day and the rest of the weekend made up with some of the top tributes was easy. People love nostalgia. Give them wat they want.
The future of the festival is bright with the plan to increase the acts by 2024 into other venues already in motion for 2024. With the cancellation of The Spree & The Spigeltent this year and it’s future in doubt then this festival slots right in and provides what the public want. There will be food vendors and a seating area for eating and relaxing. It is the West End’s time to shine.
