Toddler Anne had pumpkin to laugh about on visit to garden centre

A toddler sits on a wooden chair decorated with fake white hands, pointing toward Halloween decorations, including carved pumpkins and spooky figures, inside a festive autumn display at the garden centre with orange leaves.

A young man with short dark hair and a trimmed beard, mindful of stress and hair loss, looks at the camera with a slight smile, standing against a dark blurred background.

TODDLER Anne McGhee was certainly pumpkin up the jam when it came to having fun at a pumpkin patch yesterday.

The two-year-old from Paisley paid a visit to Cardwell Garden Centre, which is hosting a series of fun events in the run-up to Halloween.

A joyful toddler sits on hay bales surrounded by pumpkins, smiling brightly. She wears jeans, boots, and a pumpkin-themed sweater. Green plants and more pumpkins in the background create a festive garden centre autumn vibe.

Anne had a great time in the pumpkin patch as well as sitting in the witches’ den complete with smoking cauldron.

There are also some great photo opportunities for selfies and pictures of family and friends beside bales of straw, pumpkins galore and a put-your-face-in-the-hole scarecrow and sunflower photo board.

The Halloween Pumpkin Pick and Treasure Hunt runs from now until Thursday, October 31 during the centre’s opening hours.

Retail general manager at Cardwell Garden Centre, near Gourock, Paul Carmichael said: “We’re always up for creating some spooktacular fun at this time of year.

“We’re inviting everyone to come along to Cardwell and have themselves a bit of Halloween fun with friends and family. The kids will just love it!”
