This song is about the never ending dance of life and death and all that’s in between and beyond. Emma’s hope is that it will bring comfort to others, wherever they are on their journey.

Emma Gillespie, formerly known as Emma’s imagination, first came to prominence after winning the Sky 1 TV talent contest Must Be the Music.

Emma said: “This project is very dear and close to my heart as I lost my friend Michelle last year to Cancer. She was only 30 years old and left behind her 5 year old son and husband. St Vincent’s Hospice provided her with a peaceful sanctuary and so much more during her final months. St Vincent’s Hospice rely heavily on donations to continue to provide their Services and I aim to raise as much as possible for them with this release.”

Kate Lennon, Chief Executive, St Vincent’s Hospice said:

“It was a great privilege for all of us at the hospice to have known and cared for Michelle. What a wonderful gift Emma has shared with us through this song. Our grateful thanks to Emma and Michelle’s family and friends for all the support and generosity they have given to the hospice over the past year …. It means so much and allows us to continue to care for others who need our support when facing life-limiting illnesses.”

“The Story Goes On” is written and performed by Emma Gillespie and was produced by Thomas Brumby of Thomas Brumby Music and Sound, Glasgow. The single is available for download from all major music stores & all major streaming services.
