There will be a ‘Talk Cancer’ cancer awareness workshop in central Glasgow on Tuesday 15 November 2016, and there are a number of bursary-funded spaces available to apply for.
WHAT’S TALK CANCER?
It’s a Cancer Research UK training programme to help people feel confident promoting healthy lifestyles and the importance of spotting cancer early.
Talking about cancer isn’t always easy, so we’re here to guide you on what to say and how to say it. The Talk Cancer programme is all about communication, sharing experiences and recognising how much of a difference you can make if you have the right tools and knowledge.
It’s designed for anyone who’s able to promote health and wellbeing in their community, such as front-line public health and local authority staff, health trainers, pharmacy teams, practice staff, and volunteers.

Time 9.30 – 12.30pm
Cost £120 per person (some free bursary-funded spaces are available)
