Date: Thursday 2 June, 2016
Time: 3pm – 5pm
Tickets: FREE event*

Take a trip down memory lane, enjoy familiar songs and catch up with friends – or make new acquaintances – at our exquisite tea party. Whether you dance the afternoon away, or enjoy a blether amongst good company, come and join the fun!

The Experience has joined forces with SuperJam (Global manufacturer of jam products), to bring you an event that’s guaranteed to get your toes tapping. Guests can enjoy instruction from a professional ballroom dance teacher, high tea and lots of laughter. SuperJam tea parties run throughout the country and give elderly people, who either live alone, or are in care, the chance to get together and meet new people.

Please spread the word about this fantastic event to friends, family and neighbours and let’s recreate that special feeling of the traditional dancehalls. Are you dancin’? Are you askin’? I’m askin’! I’m dancin’!

*No tickets required – register by calling reception on 0141 883 4005, or email  geoff.barrett@theexperience.org.uk

The Experience is a fully accessible venue, with facilities for disabled guests. We are expecting guests from care homes and community groups, as well as local residents, family and friends. There will be plenty of seating, along with a dance floor and ballroom dance instruction.
