A big year for Bishopton

Bishopton Ladies are coming off a season in which they won their league, their cup and the promotion play-off. The club said all three of its nominees "would be more than worthy winners" and wished them every success at Hampden.

Renfrew Ladies and Girls FC also congratulated Connor, former player Haggerty and its under-16 side, calling it "a massive well done to a trio of nominees".

The awards night

An all-women judging panel will choose the winners, with categories covering everything from international players to grassroots volunteers. This year also brings a new Women's Walking Football Team of the Year award.

Scottish Women's Football chief executive Aileen Campbell said the shortlist showed that "stories of dedication, bravery and sporting success" were "taking place all across Scotland", adding: "I can't wait to celebrate all those shortlisted at Hampden next month."

Tickets for the awards night are available through Scottish Women's Football.

Good luck to everyone flying the flag for Renfrewshire.
