St Mirren FC Charitable Foundation, in partnership with the Scottish FA, is proud to continue, Menopause Goals – Celebrating The Second Half.

Following the success of our pilot and first cohort, we are delighted to announce the return of the Menopause Goals programme, starting on Thursday, 19th September 2024, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, running for eight weeks.

This FREE programme is seeking women living in the Renfrewshire area who are experiencing menopause symptoms and may feel alone, vulnerable, anxious, emotional, or in need of support. If you’re ready to discuss how menopause affects your daily life and explore ways to alleviate these symptoms, this programme is for you.

Participant Criteria: To qualify, you must:

Be over 40 years old, be experiencing some of the known symptoms of menopause and be motivated to take action and participate.

Menopause Goals

Programme Goals:

Our goal is for participants to achieve a minimum 10% reduction in menopause symptoms. The learning objectives for each participant include:

Gaining a deeper understanding of the stages of menopause and how they impact daily life.

Exploring tools and strategies to navigate menopause with confidence.

Receiving education to better understand your body, symptoms, and how to take steps towards improved health and wellbeing.

Each session covers a different topic which aims to equip participants with the knowledge/skills, coping strategies and techniques to manage symptoms.

Topics include…

Understanding Menopause: Definitions & Physiology, Stress & You.

Sexual Health, Hormones/HRT/Holistic Solutions.

Gut & Brain Health, Exercise, Nutrition, Meditation, Cold Water Therapy, and more.

What You Can Expect:

A supportive, safe nurturing environment where you will have the opportunity to learn, share personal experiences with other women (if you feel able to) feel valued and listened to.
