Due to severe weather warnings all sports and leisure facilities along with libraries, Paisley Museum, Paisley Arts Centre, community centres and town halls operated by Renfrewshire Leisure closed at 2pm today. (Wednesday, February 28.
And due to the Red Alert warning from the Met Office, these facilities will also be closed tomorrow. (Thursday, March 1)
Joyce McKellar, chief executive of Renfrewshire Leisure said: “With the updated weather warning and the travel advice from Police Scotland our facilities will close early on Wednesday and remained closed on Thursday.
“We take the safety of our staff and customers very seriously and a decision on whether to open on Friday will be made when we get an updated weather report on Thursday.”
