The annual Reclaim the Night march returns to Paisley town centre next month, and everyone is invited to walk together in support of the international call to end harassment and violence against women and girls.
This year's march takes place on Wednesday 25 November. People are asked to gather from 5.45pm at the University of the West of Scotland entrance on Paisley High Street, with the march setting off at 6pm. The event runs until around 7.30pm.
Marchers will make their way along the High Street towards Dunn Square, where a memorial wreath will be laid to honour women and girls who have lost their lives to violence. Torches and banners are very welcome.
Afterwards, everyone is invited into Paisley Town Hall for refreshments and entertainment.
The evening is organised by Renfrewshire Council's Youth Services and Women & Children First teams, with support from women's advocacy groups and community organisations. It forms part of the United Nations' global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign.
Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
