Police Scotland is appealing for information following a hit-and-run road traffic collision in Paisley on Wednesday evening.
The incident happened at around 6.30pm on Wednesday, 9 September 2026, on Caledonia Street at the junction with McDowall Street. The collision involved a red Nissan Qashqai and a red-and-white off-road style scrambler motorcycle.

Following the collision, the motorcyclist left the scene, travelling along Caledonia Street towards St James' Interchange.
Officers are keen to trace the rider, not only to establish exactly what happened but also because they may have suffered injuries during the collision.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident, or who was driving in the area and may have dashcam footage, to come forward. Even information that may seem minor could help investigators piece together the events.
