Paisley Town Hall is turning into a festive picture house this December, with four Christmas favourites on the big screen across the weekend of 20 and 21 December.

Saturday 20 December opens with Elf at 3.30pm, followed by Love Actually at 7.30pm. On Sunday 21 December, the 1947 original Miracle on 34th Street screens at 3pm, with Bill Murray in Scrooged rounding off the weekend at 7pm.

Tickets are £10 for adults, and £8 for children under 16 at Elf, Miracle on 34th Street and Scrooged. Love Actually is rated 15, so it is adult tickets only. All prices include a £1 venue levy.

For a bit of extra sparkle, every screening has a VIP lounge upgrade. Adults pay £15 for lounge access, a luxury liqueur hot chocolate, gourmet popcorn and a tub of honey-glazed pigs in blankets. Children can upgrade for £10.50 and get hot chocolate, kids’ popcorn and a bundle of candy canes. Children must be with an adult in the lounge, and both need a VIP add-on.

Two of the evening films also come with an over-18s masterclass for £25, bought alongside a film ticket. Before Love Actually, from 5.30pm to 6.30pm, there’s a festive cocktail session showing how to make three seasonal drinks. Before Scrooged, from 4.45pm to 5.45pm, a sparkling wine tasting explores four affordable alternatives to Champagne.

Seats are on the ground floor stalls, the first-floor balcony (reached by lift or stairs) and the second-floor gallery, which has no lift and steep steps. Wheelchair spaces can’t be booked online, so contact the OneRen box office on 0300 300 1210 or at OneRen_boxoffice@renfrewshire.gov.uk.

Tickets for all four films are on sale now through Paisley Town Hall’s website.
