Tonight, at The Bungalow have an amazing tantalizing tribute show featuring George Michael’s greatest hits and they are performed by one of the UK’s Premier George Michael tribute artistes, Brendan J Carr. This will be a cracking show packed with a whole load of great songs. This is an opportunity to relive the hits of George Michael and Wham! one by one. ‘Faith’, ‘Father Figure’, ‘I’m Your Man’, ‘Careless Whisper’, ‘Outside’, ‘The Edge of Heaven’, ‘Freedom Forever’… they will all be featured during this unique night. Tickets are hard to find; you might get a last-minute hand back on Skiddle. on the door from 7pm. 

The Divas Soul Band are playing at The Bungalow tomorrow afternoon and it is free entry. This will be a busy one and it is recommended to get in early when the doors open which is 1pm. 

On Sunday Target Street play their first gig of the year. The band were telling me that they are excited to bring their upbeat set of Mod / Brit pop classics to Paisley. This is sure to be a brilliant afternoon. Doors are at 1pm. 

The Bungalaff Stand Up Comedy Night Paisley’s longest running stand-up comedy show returns on Sunday night. The headliner is Obadiah Steppenwolfe and the night as always is hosted by Richie McMahon who will be introducing a lineup of special guests. Tickets on the door from 7pm.

The Bungalow Jam kicks off at 7pm on Tuesday. This week it has a different flavour as there will be Music, Games, a Quiz and the usual Open Mic. All the fun starts when doors open at 7pm. 

The Bungalow Wednesday Club starts at 2pm with an afternoon of fun from singer John Griffith of The Bobby Deans Big Band and the popular quiz – it’s not the winning, it’s the learning.  

On Thursday Introducing Night Colm O’Sullivan Lucas H and Jack Brodie will be on stage giving you a glimpse of what the best emerging talent looks like. Tickets on the door from 7pm. 

The Swan have The Rox in tonight and they kick off at 8pm. On Saturday afternoon from 4pm it is The Headhunters followed by a live DJ set till late. The Sunday Soul Club kicks off at 4pm with John and Maria on the decks. Crawford Carlyle will be playing on Monday from 4pm, Lee James starts his comedy and song stage show on Tuesday at 3pm and every second Thursday at 5.00pm and alternatively sometimes it is Cammy Miller.  Duncan McLellan will be onstage on Wednesday to play a whole load of your favourite songs. 

I can tell you that Swan Rocks on Saturday 21 February has just been announce and at only £6 a ticket you get Trunk Monkey, On Target, Freight Train, Gordon’s Alive, Sad Ida, Wreckless, The Lines, Crackerman and Midnight Moses. That is less than £1 a band. What’s not to love? Get in quick. 

On Sunday at The Inn on the Corner Filthy White Suit will be kicking off at 4.30pm. This crew are a full-on pub rock party band, and they will be pounding out some great tunes for you. It’s what Sundays are made for and try standing still. 

The Open Mic/Stage sessions next week are: The Abbey at 9pm on Monday, Ugly Duck Monday at 7pm, The Gantry at 9pm on Tuesday, The Bungalow on Tuesday 7pm, The Keg on Wednesday at 8.30pm and The Inn on the Corner has an Open Mic on the last Tuesday of the month.
