A vibrant new mural celebrating Paisley's famous Sma' Shot Day has appeared on the corner of Neilston Road and South Campbell Street, created by local artist Shaun Devenney (Art by Dev).

The artwork marks the 40th anniversary of the procession's revival and captures the spirit of this year's parade despite the rainy weather. Shaun self-funded the entire project as a tribute to Paisley's heritage and community.

The mural beautifully depicts the atmosphere of the July celebration, showcasing the determination of participants and spectators who refused to let dreich conditions dampen their enthusiasm for one of Renfrewshire's most cherished traditions.

To help cover the costs of bringing this community artwork to life, Shaun is offering signed A3 giclée prints of the original study through his website. It's a wonderful way to own a piece of Paisley's cultural history whilst supporting local artistic talent.
