A brilliant new charity shop has opened in Lochwinnoch, breathing fresh life into a building that stood empty for more than ten years.
Granny Mutch occupies the former Royal Bank of Scotland premises at 1 High Street, and the independent charity has kept the original safe and vault as striking features within the space.
The shop takes its name from a beloved local character who once sold small items like thread around the village, keeping that spirit of community trading alive.
What makes this venture special is that every penny raised goes straight back into local projects. Beneficiaries include Lochwinnoch Community Larder, the Feel Good Festival, and Diggin' It Seed Libraries — all initiatives that strengthen the community.
Granny Mutch is open seven days a week, offering residents and visitors a great place to find pre-loved treasures while supporting worthwhile causes right here in Renfrewshire.
