Mhairi Black is coming home. The former MP for Paisley and Renfrewshire South will bring her new stand-up show, Difficult Second Album, to Paisley Town Hall on Saturday 1 May 2027.

The show follows two sold-out Edinburgh Fringe runs and a debut tour that took the MP-turned-comedian around the country. This time she is touring venues across Scotland, and the Paisley date is now on sale.

What the show is about

Mhairi will look back on her time in politics, life after leaving it, neurodiversity and her attempts to get fit at the gym. In her own words, the show jumps about "in true ADHD fashion".

She first made headlines in 2015 when she was elected to Westminster at the age of 20, becoming the youngest MP in more than 300 years, and represented the town until she stood down at the 2024 general election. Since then she has built a second career on stage, and a Paisley crowd should make for one of the warmer nights of the tour.
