They were making sure the newly-remodeled Paradise Island Adventure Golf, in Soar at intu Braehead suited everyone to a tee, and their reaction after testing out the popular leisure attraction was: “It’s definitely up to par!”

Aidan and Lucie were recently chosen to fill the Head of Fun role and their job is to bring a smile to everyone who comes through the doors of intu Braehead and make the centre even more child-friendly than it already is.
The youngsters will also advise the management team on children’s activities, review the latest toys, restaurants and leisure attractions and help organise the intu Braehead Kids’ Club.

After their round of golf, Aidan, from Houston, Renfrewshire, said: “This Head of Fun is a great job – who else gets to play a round of golf on their first day at work?
“I had a great time and going round Paradise Island Adventure Golf is exactly what it says – an adventure. I’d certainly say people of all ages should try it out and they’ll have lots of fun.”

Lucie, from Erskine, joked: “I’d never played golf before and Aidan had to show me how to play properly. Maybe I’ll suggest making the holes absolutely huge so people like me who aren’t very good at golf get a better chance of winning!  “I soon got the hang of it, though and the whole place is so much fun.”

Christine Macdonald, marketing manager for intu Braehead said: “Phew! We’re all relieved our two Heads of Fun had a great time on their first task to try out Paradise Island Adventure Golf.
“The report we got back from our new team members was that they definitely thought their day there was fun.
“Which is great, as that’s exactly what we aim to give our visitors to intu Braehead.”
