General manager for intu Braehead, Gary Turnbull and the shopping centre’s mascots prepare for some high-jinks when the new Head of Fun arrives at the mall.

Management at the mall today (Friday) began advertising for the position and applicants must be aged between six and ten years old and most importantly, enjoy a good laugh.

The new Head of Fun will be tasked with bringing a smile to everyone who comes through the doors of the shopping centre and to make the mall even more child-friendly than it already is.
Hours of work are restricted to school holidays and occasional weekends and the boardroom position comes with an attractive remuneration package of gift vouchers, free toys and entry to the many leisure attractions in the centre and Soar at intu Braehead.

The successful applicant will advise the management team on children’s activities, review the latest toys, restaurants and leisure attractions, help organise the intu Braehead Kids’ Club and meet with Santa and his elves at Christmas.

Youngsters can apply to be intu Braehead’s Head of Fun by writing a 200-word summary of why they are best suited for the job, a poem or a song, or making a two-minute video of themselves pitching for the post. They should also submit a photograph of themselves.
Application forms can be picked up from the centre’s Customer Services Desk, or online at  www.intu.co.uk/braehead and video clips can be emailed to headoffun.braehead@intu.co.uk .

Would-be Head of Fun executives can also make a video of themselves applying for the job from a special video booth being set up in Soar at intu Braehead, on Saturday, April 2 and the shopping centre the following day between noon and 4pm.

If your child cannot apply for this amazing opportunity, get him a gift that can might restore the smile on his face. Shop at Amazon and you’ll save money too. Remember that Amazon promo code can help to save some more money.

General manager of intu Braehead, Gary Turnbull said: “This is probably one of the best jobs anyone can have because we all like a bit of fun in our lives.
“We’re looking for an enthusiastic youngster, who is confident, knowledgeable and most of all has a brilliant sense of fun to take on this very demanding role.
“The successful candidate’s success in this new role will be judged on how wide a smile they can put on everyone’s face.
“But one thing’s for sure, our boardroom meetings will never be the same again when our Head of Fun is around.”
