Paisley Girl to join Star DJ’s celebrate local cancer charities 100th birthday!

Paisleys Amy White will join Clyde 1 DJ’s Knoxy and Robin Galloway to celebrate 100 yeasr of Macmillan Cancer Support. The DJ Duo toasted their cocktails to Macmillan Cancer Support and urged supporters to attended the Macmillan Cancer Support West of Scotland Centenary Ball on the 3rd of September where Amy will be a guest speaker.

The ball being organised by west of Scotland trio Alison Millar and Ann McNulty and Victoria Gibbs who have all been touched by the support Macmillan offers to people and their families affected by cancer. All funds raised on the night will go towards supporting local Macmillan projects including information drop in centres in Renfrewshire.

Fundraising Manager April Andrews said “this is an amazing event to have in the west of Scotland to mark our 100th birthday! It is a massive achievement for Macmillan Cancer Support to reach our centenary and we simply could not have reached this mile stone without our amazing supporters! With more than one in three of us receiving a cancer diagnosis in our lifetime Macmillan Services are needed more than ever. The ball is a fantastic opportunity to go along to with friends, family and colleagues and celebrate amazing work Macmillan have provided for the last 100 years.

DJ Robin and host for the night added: “I lost my dear brother-in-law Fraser to cancer over a decade ago and so help fundraise in as many ways as possible. “Macmillan is not only dear to my family but a wonderful and worthwhile charity.”

This is a evening not to be missed. A cocktail reception will welcome guests and the night will future an array of amazing entertainment – including performances from dance group the box and a live band to dance to dark. The living room Glasgow will also host an after party for guests at the ball until 1am.
