A well-loved Lochwinnoch pub has scooped a prestigious national award for its outstanding charity work and community spirit.
The Three Churches on Church Street has been named Community Pub of the Year 2026 by Admiral Taverns, which operates nearly a thousand pubs across Britain.
Owner Susan Busby and her team earned the accolade after raising an impressive £77,000 for local charities and organisations since 2019. Of that total, £56,000 has gone to Teenage Cancer Trust, while this year's music festival alone brought in £14,200.
Susan said the team has worked hard to make the venue a welcoming space for families and children in what she describes as a family village. She praised her staff for their dedication and noted that even four-legged friends are made welcome.
As part of the award, Susan received £500 to donate to a charity of her choice. She has selected Alzheimer Scotland to benefit from the prize.
The Three Churches is located at 5 Church Street, Lochwinnoch, PA12 4AD. For more information, call 07540 420798.
