The Three Churches in Lochwinnoch has been crowned Community Pub of the Year 2026 by Admiral Taverns, beating hundreds of pubs across the UK to claim the top honour.
The Church Street venue earned the accolade thanks to its impressive charity work and dedication to the local community. Since 2019, landlady Susan Busby and her team have raised an incredible £56,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust, with total donations to local causes reaching £77,000. This year's music festival alone brought in £14,200.
Susan credits her dedicated staff for the achievement, saying they've worked hard to create a welcoming, family-friendly environment where everyone — including four-legged friends — feels at home.
As part of the award, Susan received £500 to donate to a charity of her choice. She has selected Alzheimer Scotland as the beneficiary.
