The countdown is on! In just one week, Paisley Halloween Festival takes over the town centre for two nights of spooky family fun, and it's free to come along.
The festival runs on Friday 23 October from 4pm and Saturday 24 October from 2pm, turning Paisley into Scotland's Halloween capital once again with performances, glowing light displays, giant creatures and surprises around every corner.

The Haunted House parade
The big draw is the Halloween parade at 7pm on both nights. This year's theme is Haunted House, so expect Frankenstein, mad scientists, glowing umbrella monsters, magical sea creatures and plenty more creeping through the streets.
The route heads along Mill Street again, so there are lots of good spots to watch from.

Old favourites and new faces
Crowd favourites Spark! LED Drummers and Uncle Doom and his Organ of Gloom are back, joined by some first-timers in Paisley:
Granny Turismo, wonderfully wacky
Ember the Dragon
Roaming worlds from internationally acclaimed Show Globes
There'll be live performances, street theatre and family entertainment across the town centre on both days.

Food and the funfair
Hungry little monsters? The Big Feed Night Market will have food traders at Bridge Street car park all festival, with more food at the Cenotaph and Gilmour Place.
The funfair is back too, at the Lagoon car park and East End Park.
Grandstand tickets
Want a guaranteed seat? The grandstand on Cotton Street has great views of the parade, plus pre-show entertainment from Pete Anderson and Missy Impossible. Tickets include a baked treat and a hot or soft drink.
