Update — 31 October 2026: It is called Ferguslie Park Station. The station was closed down and is getting sold for £75,000.
Paisley's former Ferguslie Park police station is up for sale, with offers over £75,000 invited.
The single-storey building on Ferguslie Park Avenue is being marketed by Shepherd Chartered Surveyors as a potential development opportunity. Any new use would need planning approval.
What's for sale
The property covers 2,422 sq ft and sits on a secure site of around a third of an acre. Inside there's a reception area with an office next to it, two larger rooms that were used as breakout spaces, several smaller offices, storage rooms and toilets.
Round the back, a gated parking area has a storage shed and covered spaces for up to 10 vehicles, plus some extra open ground.
Vehicles get in from Blackstoun Road, while the pedestrian entrance is on Ferguslie Park Avenue. The corner site is close to the Tannahill Centre, with schools and sports facilities nearby. Paisley St James station is under a mile away, and the A737 gives quick access to the M8.
Interest already
Fraser McDonald of Shepherd Chartered Surveyors said the building, with its secure covered parking, offers scope for an alternative use, subject to planning, and that they've already had keen interest.
