Paisley has a new dining destination as Fire Horse opens its doors at 63 Neilston Road, occupying the former La Banca premises.
Meimei and Michael, the couple behind the venture, bring 25 years of hospitality expertise each to their new restaurant. Michael leads the kitchen as head chef, while Meimei balances her culinary skills with front-of-house duties.
The menu focuses on fresh Chinese cuisine with inclusive options for all diners. Vegetarian, vegan, halal and gluten-free dishes will be available, with a dedicated gluten-free menu coming soon. Takeaway service is offered, and the venue is fully wheelchair accessible.
Fire Horse welcomes guests seven days weekly, serving lunch from noon Monday through Saturday. The restaurant's name reflects 2026 being the Year of the Fire Horse in the Chinese zodiac—a rare occurrence happening just once every 60 years.
While their alcohol licence processes, customers can bring their own bottles without corkage fees. Soft drinks, tea and coffee are served.
Opening hours: Monday–Thursday noon–10pm, Friday–Saturday noon–11pm, Sunday 4pm–10pm.
