If your company loves to conduct training and seminars for its employees, it is essential to look for the right venue. Ideally, these events should be done within the company premises. However, not all offices are blessed to have a few conference rooms that could accommodate a large group of people all at the same time. So if you happen to be in charge of booking a room, you can check out places such as conference venues in Oxfordshire for your business and company needs.

Looking for an off-site conference room seems to be a practical choice for most business owners. As the years go by, more buildings have been constructed and made into rental conference venues. This means that there is a significant need for places where companies can host their events, parties, seminars and training sessions. If you are trying to make a lasting impression on your clients, you should look for the ideal conference venue in town for your project presentation or product launch. Before making a reservation and down payment, ask yourself the following questions before confirming things with the person in charge of the venue.

How big is the space provided?

Rental venues come in different sizes. Some rooms can accommodate 20-200 participants in one sitting. The bigger the room, the more expensive it is. It is best to inform the building admin of your expected headcount and budget and see if there is something that can they can work out for you.

Does it have reliable internet access?

Before booking, you need to verify if the building’s internet is working fine or not. It is necessary to have a stable internet connection, especially if you are conducting training and online courses. It keeps your employees engaged and productive for the day. You can ask the admin to allow you to connect to their WI-FI even for just a few minutes to check its current speed.

Where is the conference venue located?

Choose the most accessible place that you can afford. Not all employees have cars of their own. Ideally, the conference venue should be located near mass transport systems like the train and bus stations.

Does the place come with free parking?

Some employees who live in distant places might find it more convenient to drive to the venue. That is why you should make sure that the venue comes with free parking space. In case attendees are asked to pay, your company should shoulder the expense.

Lastly, you need to know if food and drinks are allowed inside the venue. If the event lasts for the whole day, you need to verify if a caterer can serve food and beverages. Since it is very inconvenient for employees to go out and look for a place to eat, why not have it served inside the conference room? Some admins allow it while others do not, so it is essential to ask before making a reservation.
