Tucked inside Paisley Arts Centre on New Street, BLEND Coffee Lounge is one of those places that feels like it was made for a proper catch-up. Their own motto is all about “sparking community with top-quality coffee, cake and conversations”, and that’s exactly the vibe — a cosy, friendly spot to gather round what they call the “campfire of coffee”, whether you’re heading to a show or just fancy a breather from town.
The coffee comes from Paisley’s own The Gatehouse Coffee Roasters, and you can even pick up a bag of their beans to take home. Alongside the cakes there’s a range of fresh bagels and wraps, with gluten-free and vegan options, plus smoothies for the odd sunny day and a good brew for the tea drinkers among us.
It’s a lovely wee hideaway in one of Paisley’s most characterful buildings, and a nice reminder that the Arts Centre is about more than what’s on stage. Why not pop in for a flat white and see what’s on while you’re there?
