A Paisley charity dedicated to one of the town's most cherished green spaces is on the hunt for new trustees to join its board.
Friends of Barshaw Park is recruiting volunteers to help steer the organisation through an exciting period of growth over the coming year. The charity has ambitious plans including strengthening its finances, expanding the Community Garden, and exploring the restoration of historic buildings within the Walled Garden through its Behind the Wall project.

The organisation is particularly interested in hearing from people with skills in fundraising, property management, volunteer coordination, digital communications, health and safety, governance, or business administration. However, previous trustee experience isn't required—just a genuine passion for Barshaw Park and a desire to contribute to its future.
Anyone interested in applying should send a CV and brief covering letter to barshaw.communitygarden@gmail.com.
