Paisley's dining scene is set for a major boost this Wednesday when Café Royale Bistro Deluxe opens its doors at 71 Glasgow Road.
The venture is led by Ferrier Richardson M.C.G.B., whose impressive CV includes stints as executive chef at Glasgow institutions Rogano, The Buttery and One Devonshire Gardens. A former Scottish Chef of the Year, Ferrier has prepared meals for royalty, presidents, Hollywood celebrities and football stars throughout his career. He's also the bestselling author of 'Glasgow on a Plate'.
Taking over the much-loved former Caffe Royale premises, Ferrier has kept the Café Royale name as a nod to the reputation established by previous owner Colin Guthrie. The menu will showcase European and Asian cuisine alongside pizzas—this isn't an Italian restaurant, Ferrier stresses.
The team is currently recruiting chefs plus full-time and part-time front-of-house staff. Interested applicants should send a brief CV to vickimelvin@icloud.com.
