Paisley's dining scene is set for a boost as Café Royale Bistro Deluxe opens its doors on Wednesday 28 October at 71 Glasgow Road.

The restaurant is helmed by Ferrier Richardson M.C.G.B., a former Scottish Chef of the Year whose impressive career includes cooking for royalty, presidents, Hollywood stars and football legends. Ferrier previously served as executive chef at renowned establishments including Rogano, The Buttery and One Devonshire Gardens, and authored the bestselling cookbook 'Glasgow on a Plate'.

Taking over the much-loved former Caffe Royale premises, Ferrier has kept the Café Royale name as a nod to the reputation established by previous owner Colin Guthrie.

Diners can expect a blend of European and Asian cuisine alongside pizzas—though Ferrier emphasises this isn't an Italian restaurant.

The team is currently recruiting chefs plus full-time and part-time front-of-house staff. Interested applicants should send a brief résumé to vickimelvin@icloud.com.
