Paisley's dining scene is set for a major boost with the opening of Café Royale Bistro Deluxe on Wednesday 28 October at 71 Glasgow Road.

The new restaurant is helmed by Ferrier Richardson M.C.G.B., a former Scottish Chef of the Year whose impressive career includes cooking for royalty, presidents, Hollywood stars and football legends. Ferrier previously served as executive chef at some of Scotland's most prestigious establishments, including Rogano, The Buttery and One Devonshire Gardens. He's also the bestselling author of 'Glasgow on a Plate'.

Taking over the site of the much-loved Caffe Royale, Ferrier has kept the name as a nod to the reputation built by previous owner Colin Guthrie. The menu will showcase a blend of European and Asian cuisine, with pizzas also on offer.

The restaurant is currently recruiting chefs and front-of-house staff for both full-time and part-time positions. Interested applicants can email a brief résumé to vickimelvin@icloud.com.
