Quotes:

Suzanne Harrison-Kerr of SK Fitness: “We are excited to host our annual charity event this year for two wonderful charities.  On the success of last year’s 24 hour spin-a-thon we have raised the bar and invite anyone to take part in the 24 hours of fitness! We hope there is something for everyone, and we invite any fitness level and age group to come along and take part.

If that is not something you fancy why not sponsor us to keep us going over the 24 hours we are teaching!”

Emma Donald St Vincent’s Hospice: “We are delighted to have the support of SK Fitness and all of their amazing members and local community for this epic challenge.

We have lots in common through our community values, and we are delighted to be one of SK Fitness nominated charities. The support will mean St Vincent’s Hospice can be there for even more families in Renfrewshire and North Ayrshire and it means the, world. “

Joyce Ross, partnerships fundraising manager Beatson Cancer Charity: “It’s so inspiring when supporters come to us with ambitious fundraising ideas.

We’re thrilled SK Fitness chose to fundraise for our charity through this incredibly exciting challenge.

Every penny raised will go towards supporting patients and their families across the west of Scotland and beyond as we develop new services and support existing ones, so we are very grateful for any support shown to fundraisers like this one.”

About Ranfurly Castle Golf Club: Ranfurly Castle Golf Club, established in 1889, has a fantastic history being the oldest golf club in Renfrewshire which has regularly hosted national competitions. It is one of the best moorland courses in Scotland and invests in initiatives to serve all categories of members and encourage children and families.

About SK Fitness: Our aim is to provide a relaxed and comfortable environment to workout, where you can learn new training methods, improve your fitness and mental wellbeing, and increase your confidence and strength. At SK Fitness we do not sculpt body builders, we work with real people, helping them develop a healthy approach to exercise and nutrition, and best of all real results without asking you to completely change your lifestyle!

About St Vincent’s Hospice: As St. Vincent’s Hospice, we stand tall as a beacon of compassion and solidarity within the Renfrewshire and North Ayrshire communities. For over thirty-five years, our unwavering dedication has been a source of solace and comfort for those facing life-limiting illnesses. About Beatson Cancer Charity: At Beatson Cancer Charity we believe that no-one should face cancer on their own. This has always been our aim and we will work hard to continue to support even more people and families in the years to come.
