Sma’ Shot Day marks Paisley’s yearly tribute to the legendary triumph of the town’s weavers over a well-known disagreement.

The event is held on the first Saturday of July each year, a time when weavers and their families would typically take their holiday ‘down the water’.

Come along on Saturday, 6 July, to experience a day full of activities in Paisley!

Sma’ Shot Parade

12pm – 1pm
Starts Brodie Park
Ends Abbey Close

Co-ordinated by Bridgeman Arts in collaboration with community groups, performers and musicians.

The parade brings to life the traditional weavers’ celebration in honour of their victory. It tells some exciting, undiscovered stories of weavers’ past. This year, we’re highlighting some of the performers and characters who might have appeared at Paisley Fair at the time.

Stalls and family-friendly entertainment.
