I have an established art practice with work shown publicly and in private collections. My photographic work, which focuses on the natural world and wildlife has received national and international recognition, including publication in National Geographic. Much of my work is taken in the Renfrewshire area, showcasing the diversity of wildlife our local area has to offer.

As a fine artist, I aim to take images that are more than just documentary shots, suggesting narrative and creating a better understanding of animal behaviours, and their relationship to their environment and to us, whether this is in an urban or rural locale.

I use a telephoto lens to keep a respectful distance from my subjects and work with available light to create mood and atmosphere in the images. I am passionate about wildlife and conservation, and the environmental impact of climate change.  [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column parallax=”content-moving-fade”][vc_images_carousel images=”124591,124592,124593,124594″ img_size=”large” mode=”vertical” autoplay=”yes” wrap=”yes” css_animation=”fadeIn” title=”Images”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text single_style=””]I hope that my work advocates for our wildlife, and inspires others to take a greater interest in protecting local green spaces and the wider environment, in order to protect the delicate ecosystems that inhabit them, safeguarding them for future generations.
