Tomorrow afternoon Lemon Soul return to The Bungalow for another cracking afternoon and it’s free entry from 1pm. They won’t be back for 3 months, so this is a great opportunity to come along and see one of the best bands of their type. Lemon Soul cover Soul, Classic Motown, Stax and other artists from the 60’s. It’s always busy so get in early if you want a seat.

The Southmartins are back at The Bungalow tomorrow night. After one of the best gigs of 2022, Alan McEwan of The Bungalow managed to convince Andy, Naomi, and the band to head back to Paisley for 2023. Taking a trip through the hits and bits of the Beautiful South and the Housemartins, the band deliver an energetic show that brings the crowd along with them for the best singalong night of the year. Happy Hour, Old Red Eyes Is Back, Song for Whoever, Me and the Farmer, Don’t Marry Her, Perfect 10, Caravan of Love and many, many more fill the room with joy.

Now into their 13th year together (let’s forget about 2020 though) the band have toured the UK at sell out venues and festivals and were invited to play at Paul Heaton’s own venue in Salford for the launch of the “comeback” album with Jacqui Abbott. Lead singer Andy is about as close as you’ll come, vocally, to main man without it being himself and the night will leave you with a smile on your face and a song in your heart. Limited tickets for this one and doors are 7pm.

The Bungalow Club starts at 2pm on Wednesday and they have another full afternoon of entertainment lined up. It is free entry and every be assured of a warm welcome. This session has a very popular open stage section and is for everyone including first timers, musicians trying out new material and anyone who fancies a jam with whoever turns up on the day.

The Bungalow Introducing Night on Thursday features the best emerging talent around and next week it is Abstract Dancers, The Valentis and 01four1. Doors: 7pm, Tickets: £5/3 students.

Rocknrollas have a Grease v Dirty Dancing night tonight. This is back by popular demand and the last time they had the act dancing on the bar and the audience on the seats. This is a great tribute to two iconic films as well as a nod to the 50s & 60s era. Doors are 6pm.

Tomorrow night is Reflex Night and time to get your groove on. After selling out the last twice at Rocknrolla’s they are back with a bang. Doors are 7.30pm.

Live action at The Old Swan starts at 7pm tonight and tomorrow Audiorayz are playing from 4pm. The Sunday Northern Soul Session starts at 4pm. Clyde are back on Monday at 6pm, Lee James is singing from a back catalogue of hundreds on Tuesday and Thursday at 3pm. Duncan McLellan is in his weekly spot at 4pm on Wednesday.

The Keg have Ivory Saints plus support in tomorrow night from 9pm and on Thursday the Keg Sessions start at 9pm. The Cave’s ‘Triple Dose’ for the weekend starts tomorrow with Bits n Pieces, from 5pm followed by Blackout at 8pm, Nightfly finishes the weekend off on Sunday at 6pm.

You can catch a live band session at Kennedy’s from 3pm on Sunday and then over at The Anchor from 4.30pm is the much-respected veterans of the Paisley music scene Blind Panic.

Open Mic nights are: The Abbey at 8pm on Monday, The Gantry at 9pm on Tuesday and The Keg starts at 8.30pm. Have a great weekend and Keep Music Live.
