Paisley Pirates play their last home match of the season against Dundee Tigers this Sunday (face-off 5.00pm) at Braehead Arena and the club is putting on a special offer to encourage groups and fans along to cheer on the team to what they hope will be a successful final appearance, with the prize of a place in the end of season playoff finals weekend on 31 March/1 April going to the four winning quarter finalists.

Off-Ice Operations Manager Jackie Turley said, “We really want a big crowd along to support the guys as they push for a place in the playoff finals weekend. Once again, they’ve punched above their weight this season and it would be nice to give them a great send off. We’re offering junior clubs and organisations the chance to be part of the final night, so a cut-price rate to encourage them along as part of an organised group is there for the taking. Charges will be greatly reduced, being £5 for adults who are part of the group, and only £1 for kids, so it really is a genuine opportunity for them to be cheering on THEIR team as it goes into action at Braehead Arena for the last time this year.

The season doesn’t open again until September, so it’s an awful long time to wait before they will get such a chance again!”

“We need to know quickly, however, so that we can put our own arrangements in place, so we’re asking organisers to get in touch with us by Friday of this week at paisleypirates.org so that they don’t miss out on a really good deal.”
