Every year we take to the stage to showcase all of our achievements throughout the year, using a range of different instruments and singing. With various performances from all ages, this is a once a year event – not to be missed!

ANNUAL MUSIC CONCERT 2016

Every year we take to the stage to showcase all of our achievements throughout the year, using a range of different instruments and singing. With various performances from all ages, this is a once a year event – not to be missed!

We will be holding our concert in the Methodist Central Hall on Saturday 10th June. Adults £5/ Children £2.

The doors open at 6.45pm, so get down nice and early for a good seat. Everybody is welcome so bring your parents, family and friends!

Band In a Week is the perfect way for Children to learn to play musical instruments in just under a week and make new friends whilst doing so 🙂

The Children will learn to Write, Play and Perform songs using a range instruments from Drums to Guitar, Percussion to Keyboards. Or even bring your own! Including an end of week performance with a personal copy of the performance on CD.

Children will get a behind the scenes look at how musicians record music in the studio as they record their own performance at the end of the week.

Monday 4 July – Thursday 7 July – £80

Monday 18 July – Friday 22 July – £90

Classes are for Children aged 6-10 years.

Classes will commence at 10:00 and finish at 15:00.

Children are required to bring a packed lunch for their lunch break.

Limited Spaces, so get in touch quickly to avoid disappointment!


Under The Sea!

The Diane Mitchell Music School is offering Children from 3-10 years the chance to learn and perform songs from their favourite Underwater Disney Pictures.

This will be a fun-filled week of Music & Art, based upon songs from Finding Nemo, The Little Mermaid and more..

Monday 11 July – Thursday 14 July – £80

Monday 1 August – Thursday 4 August – £80

For ages 3-5 years, classes will run from 10am – 1pm.

For ages 6- 10 years, classes will run from 10am – 3pm.

(Remember to bring a packed lunch!)

This will be a fun way to learn music and meet friends for Children of all ages, so come and ‘sea’ for yourself.


The Diane Mitchell Music School are offering Children the chance to get involved in the Musical Taster Week during summer.

Come along and sample any instruments of choice on their selected days or choose a variety over the course of the week. This allows children to see where their path lies in Music by trying their hand at several different instruments.

Monday 25 July – Friday 29 July – £90

Monday: Piano/Keyboard

Tuesday: Guitar

Wednesday: Djembe Drumming

Thursday: Singing

Friday: Drums and Percussion

This week is available for all children between 6-12years.

Remember to bring a packed lunch!
