Visit Santa in his Arctic Kingdom… just for a day from Glasgow Airport

The UK may be in the grip of belt-tightening but despite the economic gloom you can still treat your children to a once-in-a-lifetime trip to visit Santa in True Lapland this Christmas.

Transun, the UK’s leading operator of Santa trips to Lapland, is laying on extra day-trip flights in December, including a number of flights from Glasgow airport, due to their success last year, ensuring that you can still see the thrill on your children’s faces when they visit the grand old man in person – without breaking the bank.

Families on Transun’s day trips will take a ride on a Reindeer sleigh, go on an exciting husky sled journey, ride through breathtaking arctic scenery on a snowmobile and take part in a thrilling search for Santa, before finally meeting the big man himself. And they will still be back home in time for supper.

Nico Kostich, Transun’s Head of Sales and Trading, said: “Day breaks are the recession’s alternative to big-budget holidays. People don’t want to sacrifice their family holidays but at the same time perhaps can’t afford to travel for a long period of time.

“Transun offer an affordable way to create precious family memories, without breaking the bank.”

Transun’s day breaks start from only £399 per person and are operating from Glasgow airport on the 17th and 21st of December, right next to Christmas time to really get the excitement flowing. Transun is the UK’s leading operator of Santa breaks, with over 15 years’ experience operating to Lapland.

“Our packages are all-inclusive, with meals, rides and snow activities included,’ says Mr Kostich. “The private meeting with Santa will provide precious and magical memories, despite the recession.”

And for families that want to linger a little longer in Santa’s Lapland, Transun is also offering a competitively priced short break from Glasgow Airport during the Christmas period, for three nights.

Issued by Glasgow Airport on behalf of Transun.
