Tonight (7th November) The Bungalow has a Tribute to James – James is an English rock band from Manchester, formed in 1982. They achieved popularity during the 1990s, with four top 10 hits. Fresh from their tour of the O2 Academies and festival performances The James Experience Born of Frustration will be performing all the big James songs like “Laid” “Sit down” “Come Home” “Sometimes” etc as well as a few of their favourites. Tickets on the door from 7pm.
The Dead Flowers are back tomorrow afternoon for more Classic Rock fronted by the very talented Nicky Waterson. This is always a busy day, so get along early. This is a free entry gig tomorrow afternoon and doors open at 1pm, with the band starting at 2pm. If you want a seat, get in early, this band are very popular, and it will be busy.
An Ocean Colour Scene Tribute are at The Bungalow tomorrow night with Ocean Colour Scheme and in support are local band Bits n Pieces. Tickets on the door from 7pm.
On Sunday afternoon at The Bungalow The Brass Monkeys BIG Band hit the stage. If you haven’t seen them before, get down and listen to one of the loudest in your face big bands around. Its FREE ENTRY and doors are at 1pm.
The Tuesday Bungalow Open Stage starts at 7pm. If you want to get on stage and jam or play some songs this is for you. The house band will be there to help and full backline available. Free entry. The Bungalow Wednesday Club starts at 2pm with an afternoon of fun from singer John Griffith of The Bobby Deans Big Band and the popular anything goes quiz that offers Tunnocks Tea Cake as prizes (only if you are good).
Paisleys wildest DRAG night returns on Wednesday 12th November. Tickets on the door from 7pm.
On Thursday The Introducing Night for new emerging music features Mr Vast and Paul Puppet. This is an opportunity to see your next favourite band. Tickets on the door from 7pm.
Crawford Carlyle is at The Old Swan tonight from 8pm and tomorrow from 4pm it is The Players. The Sunday Soul Club starts at 4pm with John and Maria on the decks. Crawford Carlyle will be playing on Monday from 4pm, Lee James starts his comedy and song stage show on Tuesday at 3pm and every second Thursday at 5.00pm and alternatively sometimes it is Cammy Miller. Duncan McLellan kicks off at 4pm on Wednesday.
Lewis Toms is at The Keg tonight from 9pm and tomorrow night at the same time is The Burnt Oot Blues Band. Discover new or up and coming talent on Thursday at The Keg as they have another night of new emerging talent playing their original material. The session kicks off at 9pm.
Venue has a Psychic Night tonight. Doors open 7pm — Show starts 8pm sharp. There’ll be two parts to the night, with a break in between to grab a drink, chat, and soak up the vibe.
They have two readers available for private readings so if you’d like one, make sure you arrive early to secure your slot. It’s set to be a special night full of energy, connection, and good spirits (in every sense of the word!).
Check out Kennedy’s on Sunday at 3pm as Howlin Radio will be on stage pounding out some rock classics at 3pm and over at The Inn on the Corner from 4.30pm there will be a live session. Check venue for details.
The Open Mic/Stage sessions next week are: The Abbey at 9pm on Monday, Ugly Duck Monday at 7pm, The Gantry at 9pm on Tuesday, The Bungalow on Tuesday 7pm, The Keg on Wednesday at 8.30pm and The Inn on the Corner has an Open Mic on the last Tuesday of the month.
