The Bungalow

The weekend starts strong at The Bungalow on Friday 29 May with Filthy White Suit, who return for a free night of rockin' fun from 7pm. Expect plenty of familiar songs, along with a few surprises and a wee twist or two.

On Saturday 30 May, The Dughoose Ska Band bring their high-energy sound to the venue in the afternoon. The 8 to 10-piece ska and 2-Tone collective, based in Glasgow and East Kilbride, has built a reputation for infectious grooves, brass-driven rhythms and lively performances since forming in 2017. Doors open at 1pm and entry is free, so get ready for some serious skankin' and dancin'.

Saturday night keeps the momentum going with The Bryan Adams Experience from 7pm. Fans can expect all the big hits associated with one of the world's best-selling artists, with tickets available on the door.

The Bungalow Jam returns on Tuesday 2 June from 7pm, with a mix of music, games, a quiz and the regular open mic session. Entry is free.

On Wednesday 3 June, The Bungalow Wednesday Club starts at 2pm with singer John Griffith of The Bobby Deans Big Band, followed by the weekly quiz and an afternoon of fun. Later that night, local promoter Sinead Connelly presents Blackbird Presents Solo Sonnets, with tickets available on the door from 7pm.

Then on Thursday 4 June, Graham Robertson takes to the stage with support from Riot Act and Marcus Walker. Robertson's solo acoustic sound draws comparisons with John Martyn, Bruce Springsteen, Bruce Cockburn, Richard Thompson and Paul Buchanan, promising big cinematic tunes with heart. Tickets are available on the door from 7pm.

The Old Swan

At The Old Swan, Ronnie T kicks things off on Friday 29 May from 4pm, followed by Small Town Sound later in the evening.

On Saturday 30 May, Freight Train plays from 4pm, with Hollie Robertson taking over at 8pm.

The Sunday Soul Club returns on Sunday 31 May from 4pm.

Looking ahead to next week, Crawford Carlyle performs on Monday 1 June at 5pm, Lee James appears on Tuesday 2 June at 3pm, and Duncan McLellan is on stage on Wednesday 3 June at 5pm. Lee James also performs every second Thursday at 5pm, with Cammy Miller appearing on alternate dates.

The Keg

Over at The Keg, Greg James plays on Friday 29 May from 9pm, while The 125's take over on Saturday 30 May, also from 9pm.

On Thursday 4 June, the venue hosts a full line-up of new and up-and-coming talent from 9pm, offering a great chance to discover some fresh acts.

The Venue

For something a little different on Saturday afternoon, The Venue is hosting a Ladies Day event from 1pm featuring iconic ABBA songs performed by Havana Blonde. The event includes a brunch buffet and favourite cocktails, with tickets available through Skiddle or on the door.

Sportsters, Kennedys and The Inn on the Corner

Graeme J Kerr returns to the stage at Sportsters on Friday 29 May from 8pm. Known for creating a full-band sound using a loop pedal, his performances are seamless, skilful and full of energy.

At Kennedys, Gallus Monkey plays on Sunday 31 May from 3pm.

Also on Sunday, Reflections appear at The Inn on the Corner from 4pm, followed by the Jim Keilt Blues Jam at 8pm.
