There is another busy week ahead for live music lovers, with tribute acts, album launches, open mic nights and free afternoon gigs all happening across some of our favourite local venues. Here’s your round-up of what’s on.

The Bungalow
The Bungalow welcomes Dignity, a Deacon Blue tribute act, tonight. After a packed-out show in 2025, fans have been eager to see them return, so tickets are expected to go quickly. This is a standing gig, with limited seating available for those with mobility issues. Tickets may also be available on the door from 7pm.

Tomorrow afternoon, Smokin’ at Tiffanys bring their high-energy 9-piece band to the stage. Known for their unforgettable performances, the band features a live horn section and delivers a dynamic, feel-good sound that always proves popular, so get in early if you want a good spot. This is a free gig, with doors opening at 1pm.

Tomorrow night, NNE presents Definitely OASIS once again for what is expected to be another packed-out show. This time they are joined by Belter - A Solo Tribute to Gerry Cinnamon. Definitely OASIS are regarded by many fans and promoters across the globe as the best Oasis tribute band around. The gig is sold out, but there may be the chance of a hand-back ticket on the door from 7pm.

On Sunday, The Go Steady play with doors at 1pm. Later that evening, the ‘Month of Sundays’ series continues with The Golden Tree, a Scottish musical super-duo featuring Bobby Bluebell of The Bluebells and Grahame Skinner of Hipsway and The Cowboy Mouth. The pair reimagine and cover classic songs by Scottish artists in their own unique and atmospheric style. Tickets will be available on the door from 7pm on Sunday night.

The Bungalow Jam returns on Tuesday from 7pm, with music, games, a quiz and the usual open mic session. Entry is free.

The Bungalow Wednesday Club starts at 2pm, offering an afternoon of fun with singer John Griffith of The Bobby Deans Big Band, along with the weekly quiz.

Also on Wednesday, StoryTree invites everyone to celebrate the launch of their latest issue. Hosted by Georgia Francis, the line-up includes Kike, Gilad Zinman, Jack Hinks, Katie Rose, Ashley Bell, Cat Cochrane, Emily Christie, Siying Wu, Dev McMath and Beth Rose. This event is free, with the option to donate. Doors open at 7pm.

Wednesday night also sees the Juniper Three album launch. Harmony is at the heart of Juniper Three, a vocal trio made up of Aimee Penman, Laura Hill and Outi Karhu. Writing and arranging collectively, they create an interwoven tapestry of genres and voices, built on the ethos of three solo singers coming together to share the lead. Tickets will be available on the door from 7pm.

The Old Swan
At The Old Swan, Ronnie T gets things underway tonight from 4pm, followed by the Mike Breen Band. Tomorrow afternoon, Distant Echo takes to the stage from 4pm. On Sunday, The Sunday Soul Club begins at 4pm. Crawford Carlyle performs at 5pm on Monday, while Lee James appears on Tuesday at 3pm and every second Thursday at 5pm, with Cammy Miller sometimes appearing on alternate dates. On Wednesday at 5pm, Duncan McLellan will be on stage with a whole host of favourite songs.

The Keg
Tonight at The Keg, Johnny Barr performs, while tomorrow night from 9pm it is Temptation Waits. On Thursday, music fans can enjoy a full line-up of new and up-and-coming talent from 9pm.

Sportsters, Kennedys and The Inn on the Corner
Graeme J Kerr returns to the stage at Sportsters from 8pm tonight. This talented one-man band uses his skill with a loop pedal to create the sound of a full band quickly, effortlessly and seamlessly.

At Kennedys, Canyon will be performing on Sunday from 3pm.

Over at The Inn on the Corner, Raymond McSherry starts at 5pm tomorrow, and on Sunday it is Ragamuffin from 6pm.

Open Mic and Stage Sessions
If you fancy taking part yourself, there are plenty of open mic and stage sessions happening next week:
