This month sees the launch of Gamble Aware Week (18-23 July), a nationwide initiative backed by the Association of British Bookmakers and high street bookmakers to encourage responsible gambling. Across Scotland, local betting shops will be taken over with Gamble Aware Week posters highlighting the message: “Never bet more than you can afford to lose.”
Throughout Gamble Aware Week, experienced staff from RCA Trust, a Paisley based counselling service, will be on hand to provide support for anyone concerned about their gambling. Confidential drop-in sessions will be held at the following locations:
